The Silvertop house garden was designed within a compact footprint, embracing minimalism through natural textures and a restrained palette.
The internal courtyard is designed as a seamless extension of the interior, bringing nature into the heart of the home. A single Japanese Maple was craned in over the house to create a sculptural focal point, underplanted with layers of assorted ferns and the dramatic touch of Alcantarea. Framed with full-height windows, the garden offers a visual connection from every angle, allowing seasonal change to become part of the living experience.
Vertical timber batten fencing wrapping around the rear courtyard provides a clean architectural backdrop, offering privacy while adding texture and warmth. A floating timber bench seat becomes both a sculptural feature and a functional element, cantilevered to nestle amongst the Arthropodiums.
