Location: Kew

A contemporary inner city garden designed for effortless entertaining, we transformed a compact backyard in to a
luxurious urban retreat. Pool was a priority with an integrated spa to be utilised in the cooler Melbourne months, framed by a natural stone feature wall filled with lush planting of Asparagus Myersii and Birds of Paradise, a radial swan timber batten screen was constructed above to create privacy and serve as a growing frame.

At one end, a vine covered studio offering a shaded escape for casual lounging and at the opposite end an open air kitchen and alfresco dining zone, rich material palette of timber, stone and greenery ties the 2 outdoor living zones together.
